Here we are near the Western tip of Africa. Most of our pictures from Dakar are market scenes. French is widely spoken here, because of the 300 years of French control which ended in 1960.
The vendors’ aggressive “marketing” style got to be a bit much so we didn’t stay long in our visit to the public market.
We retreated to the “safety” of our shuttle bus where this one lady knew she had no products we would buy.
Others, however, figured they could make some sales by banging on our windows! And, actually, they did!
